While Vacuum Assisted Centrifugal Pumps are similar in application to the self-priming pumps, these portable pumps are dry priming.  The addition of a separate priming system allows these pumps to be used where intermittent flows occur without the worry of repriming.  These pumps can operate at very low liquid levels as well as on positive suction pressure applications.  They can also be equipped with optional automatic start/stop level controls.  Also available are several silent pumps with built in sound enclosures for reduced noise levels.
