Water aerators and fountains provide a simple and inexpensive way to prolong the life of a pond.  Aerators add oxygen from the air into the water while circulating the oxygen rich water around the pond.  Dissolved oxygen aids in the breakdown of decaying vegetation and helps with algae control.  Aerators are functional in a variety of water conditions.  They feature a deep-water intake, which is extendable to any depth while the shallow water option allows for operation in as little as 20” of water.  Aerators come in a large selection of spray patterns with a variety of heights and widths.  Brilliant, high intensity lighting is also available.  Packages include spotlights, floodlights and colored lenses to create endless patterns of illumination.  Most aerators will need to be removed from the water each winter to prevent damage from freezing water.  Oldfield will not only install your aerator, but provide annual service as well.  Our factory trained technicians will pull your aerator from the water, perform a complete service check including oil change and preventative maintenance, store the unit during the winter months and reinstall it in the spring.
